Ruth S. Contreras, from Fundació Universitaria Balmes (FUB), has introduced this afternoon CO3 Project in “Chela por la Ciencia” talks 2019 organised by the Red Global MX in Barcelona (Spain).
Red Global MX is one of the most influential civil society & professional organizations with Mexicans living abroad doing long lasting contributions to the knowledge-based economy. The organization is supported by the The Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (SRE). The talk was called “Gamification aimed at improving Citizen Participation”. The use of game elements to encourage citizens to participate in political decision-making and the planning of large-scale public sector projects is growing. The success in policy making requires not only investment, but also on fun. CO3 Projects wants contribute to the developing new practices, as gamification, to optimize work processes and to integrating evidence-based decision-making processes in public services and in services such as health, education, social welfare and mobility. During the affternon, attendants could discuss with the speaker the importance of the gamification, given possible positive and negative effects in users.
The mission of the Red Global Mx is to inspire, empower and help facilitate highly qualified professionals contribute to the positioning and development of Mexico from abroad by fostering knowledge transfer, entrepreneurship and a stronger community.
