Workshop at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2019

Last 20th of November, Ruth S. Contreras and Alejandro Blanco, researchers from Fundació Universitària Balmes (FUB), conducted the workshop “Digital Disruptive Technologies to Co-create, Co-produce and Co-manage Open Public Services along with Citizens” in the Smart City Expo 2019, the world’s leading event for cities in Barcelona (Spain). The Smart City Expo, with more than 21.331 attendees, represents a true opportunity to connect cities, governments, companies, research centers and institutions and share their vision of how to drive urban transformation to a better future.

In this framework, the experts had the opportunity to present CO3 project and show the CO3 methodology used in the pilots (Turin, Athens and Paris). This activity is part of the H2020 project CO3 (Digital Disruptive Technologies to Co-create, Co-produce and Co-manage Open Public Services along with Citizens), which aims at assessing the benefits and risks of disruptive technologies (blockchain, augmented reality, geolocated social network, interactive democracy tools and gamification) in the co-creation, co-production and co-management of public services with citizens as Public Administration partners.

If you want to know more about the material that we have used in the workshop, you can visualize the slides at the following link.
