Last saturday, Rete delle Case del Quartiere together with the Municipality of Turin presented the second divulgative event focused on giving a general idea and facilitating a first approach to disruptive technologies used in the framework of CO3 project. The event analysed specifically the blockchain technology. Blockchain could be used to facilitate a modern voting system. Voting with blockchain carries the potential to eliminate election fraud and boost voter turnout. The blockchain protocol would also maintain transparency in the electoral process, reducing the personnel needed to conduct an election and providing officials with nearly instant results, for example.
